Sponsorship
All F.I.R.S.T. teams rely on sponsors for materials, mentors and monetary aid.
Though we appreciate any support, please visit our Sponsorship Levels page for a list of donation options.
We also would like companies to consider donations of materials or services they normally provide to the team such as the web-hosting we receive from 3-MediaWeb or the bolts we receive from BoltDepot.com.
An alternative to materials or monetary donation, is the volunteering of mentors. In addition to sponsorship by Boston University's College of Engineering, Boston University undergraduates provide invaluable support help by mentoring our high school students. However, we could always use more mentors and encourage local businesses to share their technical knowledge and expertise with our team. While people in all fields are welcome, we are particularly interested in those with engineering, electrical and programming backgrounds.
We greatly appreciate all kinds of support that our team receives, especially that from our current sponsors:
As the new season progresses, we hope
to find new generous sponsors to help us in our endevors. If you are interested,
please send us an email (bufirst@bu.edu). You may also read our Robot Grant page for the 2008 season to learn exactly what your money contributes to. Thanks!
